Worth stating plainly: this is the wide fitting and it is built on a unisex last rather than a men's or women's specific one. It is also the Yonex shoe we sell most of by a clear margin, which tells you how many players have been putting up with standard widths that do not suit them.

Power Cushion is the reason to buy any Yonex shoe and it is the reason to buy this one. It absorbs impact and returns a useful part of it, so a long third set is less punishing than in a firmer shoe. The all-white finish also works at clubs with a whites policy.

It suits a player who is on court several times a week, or a heavier player who wants to feel properly held in. The trade against the Sonicage is weight and a little agility, and in return you get the most durable shoe here.
